Managing Partner Alan Lever
Alan has over 20 years of experience in building and scaling private companies. At AnnexPark, Alan works closely with the management team of Distinctive Wood Products and Papillon Family Health to drive transformational growth.
Prior to AnnexPark, Alan was a Partner at TorQuest Partners, where he had been with the firm for almost 17 years as one of the original members of the investment team. TorQuest is one of Canada’s largest private equity funds with industry leading returns in the mid market. TorQuest had deployed over $2 billion of equity capital while he was there across 25 platform investments and many more add-on acquisitions. TorQuest built its brand on being a trusted partner to family owners, founders and management teams. Alan had extensive experience at TorQuest across multiple industries with specific experience in business services, financial services, manufacturing and distribution.
Alan has extensive governance experience including board chair or director positions at Polycor, Universal Rail, SCM Insurance Services, 4Refuel, Granby Industries and the Canadian Venture Capital Association.
Prior to TorQuest Alan was with Credit Suisse First Boston and prior to that with First Energy in Calgary. Alan holds a B.A. (Honours) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Alan is a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).
